How to choose your custom ski trail sign

A family nickname, a favorite run, or a name for your ski room can become a sign of its own. Here is what to consider before you start designing.

Start with the space

Each sign measures 39 inches wide × 6¾ inches tall × ⅛ inch thick. Measure the intended wall or display area before ordering. Its long, horizontal shape works well above a doorway, along a cabin wall, or in a ski room.

The sign is made from rigid Dibond aluminum composite and is suitable for indoor and outdoor display. Choose mounting appropriate to the surface and location; contact us if you need to confirm mounting details before ordering.

Choose a name that reads clearly

A short name leaves room for larger lettering. Try a cabin name, family nickname, or a phrase that means something to the recipient. These are ideas, not examples of customer orders:

  • Summit Cabin
  • Family Run
  • Last Chair

The builder fits longer text into the available space. Check the live preview at the length you plan to order.

Pick the layout

Centered

The arrow sits on the left, your trail name in the middle, and the difficulty symbol on the right.

Left aligned

The arrow and difficulty symbol sit together on the left. Your trail name is centered in the remaining space on the right.

You can choose from eight arrow directions independently of the layout.

Choose your color and symbol

The six sign colors are Downhill Blue, Spicy Pink, Expert Black, Ski Patrol Red, Powder Purple and Easy Green. Try the options in the builder to see them with your name.

Symbol choices include a green circle, blue square, black diamond, double diamond, ski patrol cross and food symbol. Choose the combination that suits your room, gift or story.

Understand the price and order process

Each sign costs $89. Flat shipping is $20 within the contiguous United States. We currently ship only within that area.

  1. Build your sign and review the preview.
  2. Submit your name, email and design. No payment is taken on the site.
  3. We review the submission and email a PayPal invoice for payment and shipping details.

For multiple signs, submit each design separately. We consolidate your signs into one invoice.

Signs ship within 3 business days after invoice payment. Orders cannot be canceled after payment, and the return guarantee applies only if there is a mistake in the sign content. Read ordering, shipping and return details.
